The Stow play Hoxton on Monday

London-based band The Stow play a special pre-Christmas show at the Queen of Hoxton this coming Monday, 20 December. The performance is part of the “I Luv Live” night featuring up and coming UK talent.

The Stow, who take their name from Walthamstow, formed in 2009 and their sound ranges from the sunny indie styles of “Doubt Remains” to the rather more rap-infused “None of the Above”. You can download their ‘Just Another Band’ EP and much more if you head over to their website.

The Queen of Hoxton doors open at 7pm, first band at 8.30pm, and is £10 on the door. There are six bands on the bill so get there early to check out some tight new talent. Hit up The Stow on Twitter for more details. In the meantime, here’s their cover of “Written in the Stars” by Tiny Tempah, recorded on a roof, and why not.
